New Interview: The Bell

My interview with the Swedish band, The Bell, is now up (link below). I've mentioned this band several times this year. Their new album came out last week, and it is a worthy purchase. The band has a mature sound that is steeped in the classic post-punk tradition.

New Artist Recommendation: The Bell

I'm happy to report my interview with The Bell will be up withing the next week. The Pendletons will be up later today.

Thanks to the nice folks at Green Light Go I was able to get a couple of The Bell's new album Make Some Quiet. It's a great album, and I'll highly recommend it. Another piece of solid work out of Sweden.

Video of the Day: Are You Jimmy Ray?

This video is great for a couple of reasons. First, The Box was great. Second, this song always made me laugh in that dance around the apartment kind of way. Here's to you, Jimmy Ray, where ever you are.

Check Out: Those Dancing Days

Maybe I'm late, maybe I'm early, but either way you have to check out the Swedish band: Those Dancing Days. Swedish girl dance-pop. It's good stuff. Video on the RMVs.

Sara Radle Interview

I think I failed to post a note on here about my interview with Sara Radle going up last week. Silly me. It's a fun interview that only allows you to learn more about Radle, but also some of the inner workings of everyone's favs, The Rentals.

Super Tuesday ... hence, the cha, cha, cha's

Super Tuesday is addictive. No joke. But weather is more so. Sometimes I think I should have been a weatherman.

Billy Harvey and his quest for biodiesel

I go the e-mail a little late in the day, but if you are still looking for something to do in the Atlanta area tonight, go to Smith's and check out Austin artist Billy Harvey. A video of his can be found in the RMVs.

And if you can hook him up, he's touring in a biodiesel car and is looking for places to refuel. Give him tips at www.billyharvey.com
